Doing More by Doing Together
Since its inception, CVSOM has been a ministry focused on, and developed through, kingdom partnerships. So much more is accomplished when building the Kingdom is the focus rather than building a singular ministry. CVSOM does not exist for CVSOM. The sole purpose of the school is to serve the Church by helping develop its leaders. To fulfill that purpose requires trust and true partnership between the Church and the school that desires to serve it. We are blessed to have valued Partner Churches who invest time and resources to see the school succeed, but our purpose is fulfilled in the trust of churches all over the valley who have been sending students to the school since 2005.
The Program Budget
The partnerships that exist between local churches and ministries that support CVSOM have enabled us to maintain an extremely low operating budget. Through those continued partnerships and the generosity of those who value the vision and mission of the school, we expect the Lord will continue to provide for the financial needs of the school.
Multiple Funding Sources
Tuition
Primary funding for the school comes from tuition, and as a result of those partnerships and our low operating costs, the school is very inexpensive. When the school has 30 students paying tuition it can meet all its financial obligations and maintain operations.
Scholarships
As affordable as the school is, the cost still puts it out of reach for many of our students. Scholarships are a vital revenue stream that helps the school maintain enrolment and fulfill our purpose. Scholarships are an essential part of CVSOM funding every year.
Corporate Sponsorships
While a new avenue for CVSOM, we believe that our partnerships with local businesses will be a powerful tool for the development and expansion of the school
Estate Giving and Endowments
As the school continues in a legacy of faithfulness to its vision, purpose, and mission, we believe the Lord will put it in the hearts of other faithful people to bless the school by giving through their estates or through endowments. These types of resources would be used to expand and potentially multiply our programs into other areas.
Foundation Giving and Non-Cash Asset Donations
The Legacy Christian Church (our current host church) is a Ministry Partner with the Ten Talents Foundation. This partnership enables us to receive foundation-level giving as well as Non-cash assets such as real estate, investments, business assets, crop gifts, and more.
